To actively implement the national strategy for enhancing international communication, elevate the university’s voice and influence on the global stage, and leverage high-quality academic resources and international cooperation platforms, Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics hereby launches the Global Communication Talent Training Camp.Aiming to cultivate high-caliber, interdisciplinary professionals in global communication, the program will strengthen students’ global vision, multicultural thinking, cross-cultural communication skills, and professional communication capabilities, contributing JUFE’s insights and strengths to exchanges between Chinese and foreign civilizations.Student recruitment and selection are now open, with details as follows:
I. Program Information
(1) Training Model
The program adopts a dual model of theoretical study + practical training, focusing on solidifying theoretical foundations and improving practical and cross-cultural communication skills to prepare students as a reserve force for the new-era mission of international communication.It integrates high-quality on-campus and off-campus resources, inviting renowned domestic and international experts and industry practitioners to form a high-level teaching team with academic depth and practical experience. A regular Q&A and feedback mechanism ensures responsive support for learning and development, safeguarding training quality.
Training modules include:
Overview of Competency Needs and Cultivation in Global Communication
Cutting-edge Theories in Global Communication
Global Communication Content Creation
Global Communication Practical Internship & Research
Career Guidance for International Organizations
These modules comprehensively build core theoretical and practical abilities, enabling students to grasp industry trends, handle global communication tasks, broaden global vision, and enhance core competitiveness.
(2) Training Period
May 2026 – May 2027Activities are held outside regular class hours to deeply integrate theory and practice.
II. Program Outcomes & Incentives
Participants who complete all courses and pass assessments will receive an official completion certificate issued by the university.
Outstanding participants will be funded to attend relevant competitions, visits to international organizations, and other activities.
Recommendation support will be provided for applications to international organization internships or positions; eligible candidates who are successfully recruited will receive corresponding subsidies.
Relevant courses completed in the camp may be recognized and eligible for credit transfer in accordance with university regulations.
III. Eligibility & Requirements
(1) Target Participants
Senior undergraduates, master’s students, and doctoral students across the university.
(2) Enrollment Quota
Maximum 20 students (a small number of auditing places may be available for final-year students as appropriate).
(3) Selection Criteria
Patriotic, morally upright, and socially responsible.
Clear intention to pursue internships or careers at international organizations.
Good foreign language proficiency, professional competence, and global vision.
Priority consideration for applicants meeting one of the following:
IELTS 6.5 / TOEFL 90 / CET‑6 ≥ 550
Weighted average academic score ≥ 80
IV. Graduation Requirements
Pass all course assessments.
Participate in required internship and practical activities organized by the camp.
Complete a specified number of applications for international organization internships or positions.Note: Auditing students must complete designated practical and application tasks.
