From December 9th to December 11th , the 8th Chinese Community Social Work Seminar co-hosted by the Hong Kong Association of Social Workers and JUFE was successfully held.More than 130 scholars from Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong, Chinese Academy of Sciences, FuDan University and NanKai University,as well as leaders from social work organizations attended the conference.
On December 9th , the General Assembly held its opening ceremony.Qu Jieying,vice president of Hong Kong Association of Social Workers presided over the opening ceremony. The topics of the meeting are of great significance to the implementation of the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the CPC on the protection and improvement of people's livelihood and innovation of social governance system.
The conference also invited president Hong Kong Association of Social Workers Liang Peiyao, Singaporean scholar Professor Chen Wuqiang, Japanese scholar Professor Jin Jie, Wuhan University Professor Ci Qinyin and Dr. Duan Wenjie, Northeast Normal University Li Hong, Changsha Institute of Social Work Dean Shi Tieer and JUFE Professor Yin Zhonghai made a keynote speech.There are totally 50 speeches in this conference. The conference took the lead in using WeChat live broadcasting and Sina Weibo live broadcasting in our school. Among them, WeChat Live attracted 164,000 people watching, 43,000 people like it. Live broadcast has expanded the impact of the meeting.
On December 10th , the congress held a closing ceremony. President Liang Peiyao, Vice President of JUFE Ouyang Kang, Vice President Qu Jieying and Jiang Guohe, vice dean of the College of Humanities, addressed respectively.The meeting fully demonstrated that Chinese social workers at home and abroad are full of commitment. In his speech, Vice President Qu Jieying gave an overview of the main points and topics of the seminar. The four spokesmen unanimously agreed that the conference has achieved fruitful results, linking up the links between the government, universities and social organizations, innovatively adopting new media broadcasts and expanding social achievements.
