On the afternoon of 25th September, the 1st Chinese Corner was successfully held in the Overseas Residence Hall.

In order to improve the oral Chinese of the overseas students, the Chinese Corner was sponsored by the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange (OICE).teachers from humanities school also actively participate in it. 

The students were divided into several groups according to their Chinese levels, with some Chinese student volunteers also involved. The Chinese beginners had daily conversations whilst those with higher Chinese level talked about some topics on cultural diversities. 

The Chinese Corner is considered as an effective language training club for overseas students. The friendship between the Chinese and overseas students will be strengthened therefore.
