First, Educational Objective
This program aims at cultivating moral, intellectual, physical , and aesthetic development , meet the needs of social and economic development , with care for the weak, the concept of community service , a solid grasp of social work knowledge , skills and methods , and can skillfully applied to individual adaptation social group or community relations and solving social problems. Engage in business, social organizations , social welfare agencies , communities, various social security departments of government departments and grassroots social work services , community development and management, project planning and evaluation , social security, social policy research, social work administration. Possess the spirt of Jiangxi university of finace and economics with quality of entrepreneurial talent .

    2.Basic knowledge:System to accept, general outline of sociology of social work, social investigation and study method, case work, group work, community work, Social Work Administration, Social Welfare , Social Policy, social psychology, Social Statistics, Social Work with Children and Adolescents, the Enterprise Social Work education and training, familiar with the guidelines and policies of social work and related laws and regulations, mastering basic knowledge, skills and methods of social work. Understanding of the dynamic development of social work and related disciplines; At the same time in the field of learning and mastering relevant multidisciplinary knowledge, including sociology, psychology, law, economics, management science, information science, etc., in order to better adapt to the current social demand for talents.
3.     Fifth, the main practice teaching links and instructions
    (1) the professional basic experiment. basis of psychology, introduction of social work, case work, social survey research method, group work", "community work, the application of SPSS statistics, the basic psychology, opening experiment courses. Experimental curriculum requirements on social work laboratory simulated teaching or real community, so that the students in the experiment under the scenario of simulation study and personal practice, the experience of social workers in different situations should adopt the right attitude and appropriate techniques, and in the process of helping others reflection to improve self-awareness and evaluation at any time, for personal growth.
    (2) Professional practice ,will be offered during the second stage and holidays in each semester, divide into Curricular Practical Training, social work professional practice and professional practice teaching. The Curricular Practical Training mainly including<The project of social problems><human behavior and social environment><Social Psychology><Social Statistics>.etc, social work professional practice and professional practice teaching will arrange centrally in three large practices, mainly including <visit agencies for practicing><specialized and cognitive practice>, <professional skills practice>. The purpose of Curricular Practical Training is requiring students to make full use of their free time to go into the society; learn and understand it, and digest the professional knowledge; the purpose of social work professional practice and professional practice teaching is letting the students make full use of the practice base, and within the stipulated time, using all the social work theory and method what they have learned for the social service.
Faculty of Humanities has setted up solid relationships with kinds of units and organizations, namely, Rescue Station of Nanchang, SOS Children’s Village of Nanchang, Sub-district Office of Shajing Street, Honggutan New District, Tianan Property Management Co.Ltd, Correctional Centers for Juvenile Delinquents of Jiangxi province, Department of Civil Affairs of Yushui District, Xinyu, Jiangxi province, Department of Civil Affairs of Lead Mountain, county, Shangrao, Department of Civil Affairs of Yushan, county, Shangrao, Department of Civil Affairs of Wuyuan, county, Shangrao, Department of Civil Affairs of Wannian ,county, Shangrao, Department of Civil Affairs of Xinzhou district, Shangrao, Department of Civil Affairs of East Lake district, Nanchang province, Caritas Service Center for Juvenile and Community of Hong Kong, Tut Foundation of Hong Kong and Institute of Mountain Trip of Hong Kong. We have take them as significant practice bases for our  intern students. The whole internship lays emphases on the combination of theories and practices. In addition, we also focus on the cultivation of students’ professional qualities to make sure that they can put the theories they learned in the class into proper practice. In practical terms, specific  internship objectives of different stages are as follows:
1, the first-year students do practice visiting institution, so that they can: have a knowledge about community or institution by visiting investigating;understand the problems and needs of the community residents through watching and asking; realize the connection between sociology knowledge and residents' needs, be aware of the necessity and developing room of social work;d. gain some interests and confidence for their major.
      the purpose of sophomore professional cognitive practice is to encourage students: 1>Under the guidance of professional instructor, by selecting the work to experience the actual social work; 2>During the practice, we can know the correlation between practical skills and the knowledge gained in the classroom;3> Though the experience the different roles in the field of social work, to master the basic knowledge of social work, values, professional attitude and necessary professional skills; 4>Develop self understand ability and social responsibility. 5> Understand the basic framework of China’s social welfare system, to know the operation of social welfare and social service agencies, to deep consider China’s social welfare policy, as well as the status of social welfare services, besides, should find out how far away professional requirement.
     2,third grade internship of professional skills could encourage students: ①to consolidate the expertise and skills which has mastered; ②to build capacity and skills of practice,establish a "professional self";③to reflect and review knowledge and skills what they have learned positively,to enhance the understanding of the profession, to achieve the combination of social work values, knowledge and skills

 4, The social investigation and academic paper. In order to let the students contact with the society, know the society, in the teaching plan arrangement of social surveys 1 credits on holiday , and ask the students to write academic papers according to their investigation.

Sixth. Schooling and Degree
General undergraduate academic education of our school is four years, the implementation of flexible learning life under the Credit, students in 3-6 years required credits can graduate. If students complete the required credits, and meet graduation requirements, the school will send them a diploma; these students graduate in line with national regulations, conditions and degree-granting school students about the requirements, they will be awarded a Bachelor of Laws.
