On May 26, Social Work Professor, Steve Anderson, of Public Management in Arizona State University  and Social Work Associate Professor Dr. Liu Meirong at Howard University in Washington were invited to visit JUFE’s College of Humanities and give lectures. JUFE’s Social Science Department, teachers, social work professional undergraduates and master's graduate students in the College of Humanities attended the lecture.

JUFE’s Vice President Jiang Jing fa discussed with Professor Steve Anderson and Dr. Liu Meirong regarding communication among the three universities.

Dr. Liu Meirong lecture was titled "Family and Child Welfare Designed in the U.S.,” clarifying the American family and child welfare policy and the evolution history of the project. Dr. Liu Meirong’s lecture then focused on four cases with an in-depth analysis of women, infants and children's nutritional supplements special projects, namely the WIC policies and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families. Professor Steve Anderson’s lecture was titled “Social Work Education in the U.S.,” from the U.S. social appearance the value of social work ethics social workers obtain employment domain in the U.S. and so on.  Professor Steve Anderson also summarized the law of the development of professional social work.  Both lectures were worthy of the  professors’ hard work and research. The College of Humanities was lucky to have the opportunity to have hosted these lectures and meet with such intelligent professors. JUFE hopes to continue a friendship with professors Steve Anderson and Dr. Liu Meirong as well as with their universities.
